| 1. How long should we have TWISTYMAN
visit? |
Well, for as
long as you like! I *LOVE* parties....hmmm, but you probably want to know
a
"standard" amount
of time. Well, it varies with each package, but *generally speaking*
about
10-20 children per hour. This is why it is GREAT to get
a head count ahead of time. But if you
expect that any more will be coming, you will
most definitely need me for more time, and I am
happy to prorate :-) |
| 2. Wow! Such amazing creations! Did
you go to school for this? |
Hehe! If I had
a dime for every time I have been asked that (*smiles*) ... No I have not
been to
"formal" balloon school, but I have a
degree in Creative Arts, have been entertaining for
years, and have a background in film and
theater. I just *love* to create, and my balloon
creations are a really great lesson for the young
ones....creating something from nothing right
before their eyes, not store bought :-) |
| 3. What age group is good for
TWISTYMAN? |
All ages REALLY! I
have entertained at "milestone" age parties, at High School
events, all the
way to 1 year old parties! The young ones usually have
cousins, brothers, sisters, etc, that love
the Balloons. |
| 4. Do you only do *JUST* Balloons? |
Well, you might have
seen other balloon "twisters" who twist cheesy balloons only
using one or
two balloons....NOT I, says he! My creations range from
the simple to complex 7-8 balloon
figures, and I do it fast!
*smiles* Also!.....I "entertain" with the balloons, and
have props, jokes,
magic, tattoos, and more! Sweeney the Pirate is a FUN character to have
over also....don't
go away without seeing the video! Remember, your not just
hiring a "human in a costume," your hiring a
professional entertainer who knows how to
engage the children. Don't be fooled by imitations that charge
twice as much for less. |
| 5. What does your price
reflect? |
What a GREAT
question! Many people think that TWISTYMAN is a REAL super hero and
can
disappear into the sunset! ...I
only wish it were so! TWISTYMAN can spend up to 4 hours on your
special event in preparation and travel. Also, much the same as stage actor, I need
to research
new and wondrous ways of bringing TWISTYMAN
to the children of the world! *smiles* My
reasonable rates reflect the following:

Self-employment taxes - they take 1/3 off the top!
- Book the
event, logging deposit checks, mapping out the event and reconfirm.
- Ordering balloons, props, and
supplies
- Packing apron, setting up props and getting costumes ready
- Costumes creation and maintenance
- Drive time to and from your
location (typically up to 2 hours round trip.)
- Gas and maintenance of the car
- Advertising and banking associated
expenses
- Email and web site maintenance and
costs
- Spending years of training to
become TWISTYMAN
So as you can see, much more goes on
beyond the amount of "actual" time that you hire
TWISTYMAN. |
| 6. Can you dress like a clown? |
Sure I can! I l like
to be silly! You get
everything but the scary make-up. I find that the make up ends up
scaring the
little ones more than exciting them. You
get all the excitement of a clown, with no make-up
and MUCH better balloons creations! |
| 7. Can you *NOT* dress like a clown? |
But of course!
I am happy to! I realize that little one's might get nervous around anyone
they perceive to
"look" like a clown, so I am happy to dress
in basics, with just a little 'flash' to make it fun. |
| 8. What makes TWISTYMAN Different
from others? |
Flare, pizzazz,
spunky, silly entertainment. I don't need to copy others, TWISTYMAN is
unique!

You have already
taken a GREAT step in making that happen....TWISTYMAN will be
there!
*smiles* You can enhance the experience if you
supervise TWISTYMAN's visit, and help to get
the children involved by playing along with the show! I
like to be interactive, and if you are
engaged and involved in the entertainment, it makes it
that much more special! |
| 10. Are you an "entertainment
company ?" |
Not at all. I am a
"one-man" show. This means that I don't inflate my prices. I
like to keep things affordable,
and spread smiles wherever I go! You can't go wrong :-) |
| 11. Do you take requests? |
I am happy to
take requests if you have a theme party. You can request certain
balloon
creations, characters, etc. I would be glad to
speak to you about it. Characters often involve
research, development, and rehearsal..... so
depending on what your request is, anything is
possible! |
| 12. How do we know you are reliable,
and will show up ? |
Oh, this one's easy-peasy!
I am a PROFESSIONAL! I wouldn't be in business long if I was
